Measuring yourself? You're responsible for the sizes you give us, as we make to that exact size. Measure Cover is available for £9.95 per blind.

Inside the recess: measure the width at the top, middle and bottom and use the smallest; measure the drop at left, middle and right and use the smallest. Just give us that full width, we allow for the brackets. Outside the recess: give us the finished blind size, we suggest about 3-4in (8-10cm) extra each side for better light blocking.

Pick Size type: give us your recess measurements and we take off the right deductions, or give the exact blind size you want and we make it to that.

Is blackout worth it for a bedroom?

Blackout fabric blocks far more light than standard fabric, so it's a popular choice for bedrooms and nurseries. Fitting outside the recess with overlap reduces light at the edges.

Will the fabric be the full width I order?

The overall blind is made to the width you give us; the fabric is slightly narrower to allow for the brackets and roller ends.
